Secure Trading Inc., a leading independent online payment and security provider, has been granted a license by theNevada Gaming Commission to offer payment processing, patron ID and geolocation services for Internet gambling within the state. Building on years of experience in the online payments sector in Europe, the company is poised to partner with licensed gambling operators to provide a single interface for maintaining regulatory compliance and money laundering controls, while offering the highest levels of consumer protection and financial integrity.
“We’re ready to assist licensed gambling operators to quickly implement and expand their operations in Nevada and elsewhere, bringing to the table unmatched experience,” said Kobus Paulsen, CEO of the UC Group, the holding company of Secure Trading Inc. “Together with our partners, we’ve got the best-of-breed technology in this sector for making licensed operators compliant.”

In approving the license, Mr. Peter C. Bernhard, Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission, spoke to the qualifications of Chris Thom and Secure Trading Inc. “In looking at this application, and we looked at a couple of others as well, my feeling was that you are precisely the type of person with the type of background and knowledge that will be a supplement to our existing staff and our existing licensees that are on the operating level that we hope to attract in the state of Nevada,” stated Bernhard.
Secure Trading currently supports thousands of merchants globally including PokerStars, Bwin PartyGaming (PartyPoker and PartyCasino), the original Fantasy League, World Poker Tour (WPT), the Georgia Lottery and Sportech USA.
