The SecureTrading Virtual Terminal is the perfect solution for merchants who receive orders via telephone, fax or mail order (also known as MOTO transactions), as well as over the internet. It is also an ideal call centre solution, enabling agents to take payments in call.
Once you have your MOTO Merchant ID (you will need this in addition to your Internet Merchant ID) you can use this to handle your other orders via the SecureTrading Virtual Terminal.
The SecureTrading Virtual Terminal is a web-based system that allows you to manually process any credit or debit card orders not received via your web site. Transactions are processed instantaneously and, in just a few seconds, the purchase can be completed
You can use the SecureTrading Virtual Terminal in conjunction with your website or you can choose to use it as an alternative method of payment for your existing customers.
The Virtual Terminal is also wholly integrated in to SecureTrading’s MY-ST account management system, allowing you to manage all your transactions through one interface.
If you choose SecureTrading as your web site’s payment service provider, then transaction fees and settlement terms will be the same. If you choose to use the Virtual Terminal purely to handle your MOTO transactions, you will need to apply for a MOTO Merchant Account via your bank or via the SecureTrading Merchant Account Service. SecureTrading will then charge a transaction fee based upon your average transaction value and sales volume, in addition to your acquirer charges.
