Ecommerce Bootcamp
SecureTrading recently took part in an Ecommerce Bootcamp event in Liverpool. The morning session, organised by SecureTrading partner Glow New Media, covered Online Payments, Digital Marketing and the legal aspects of online trading.
Corporate Sales Manager Lynne Harris represented SecureTrading, taking to the stage to provide participants an insight into the world of online payments. During her presentation she advised the audience what to consider when selecting an acquiring bank, what to look for in a payment service provider (PSP) and alternative payment methods available to them.
Phil Blything, the Director at Glow New Media then talked them through the art of digital marketing, explaining how to acquire, understand & keep customers. With thr growing popularity of digital marketing this was always going to be a popular session!
Then came the Legal FAQ. E-commerce is a business fraught with risk for the unprepared and the uninformed. The Legal FAQ session led by Jane Jee of Jee Associates proved a valuable session, with everyone having a long list of questions on hand.
Event attendees described the event as "informative and useful" and SecureTrading were glad to be part of such a day.
