|Initial Notification: Increase in errors for Refund API
We are experiencing a system issue which may be affecting the PayPal Refund API on the PayPal Live Site.
Some merchants may be seeing a higher number of ‘10004 – Transaction refused because of an invalid argument’ or HTTP 404 errors while trying to refund specific transactions.
An attempt to refund the same transactions from within the PayPal account will result in the following error: ‘We were unable to process your request. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again at a later date.’
Our technical teams are working towards resolving the issue. We will provide an update as soon as the affected transactions can be successfully refunded.
