SecureTrading Identity Check provides you with a two step check. Firstly a simple check on UK Electoral Roll and BT databases (including Ex-Directory). If you are unhappy with the result or believe the transaction requires further investigation, you can then choose to access traditionally expensive additional databases such as credit reference files, Directors databases and sanction lists all for the one low price of just £1.

As well as these additional databases, you will also have access to the Fraud Alert database - a shared database where merchants pool information transactions that have been flagged as fraud. By sharing data you can be alerted in real time to previously identified fraudsters before they transact with you.
